Why is my map empty, or why are some photos missing?

Atlas places photos that contain a location. If a photo has no saved location, it can’t appear on the map. Check that Location Services was on for the Camera when the photos were taken, and that Atlas has access to your photo library (Settings → Atlas → Photos). Does Atlas upload my photos?

No. Atlas works entirely on your device. Your photos and their locations never leave your iPhone. See the Privacy Policy.

Why is the recap still “analysing”?

Atlas resolves most place names instantly and offline. In rare cases a few locations finish in the background. Reopen the app a little later.

How do I manage or cancel Atlas Plus?

Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Atlas. You can change or cancel there at any time.
