Questions
How does Atlas Photo Map know where I have been?
Your iPhone saves the location of each photo when you take it. Atlas reads those locations on your device and turns them into countries, cities and trips. You don’t log anything by hand.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Atlas has no servers and no accounts. Your photos and their locations are processed on your iPhone and never leave it. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
Why are some of my photos missing from the map?
Only photos with a saved location can be placed. Screenshots, photos saved from WhatsApp and photos taken with Location Services turned off for the Camera have none.
Is it free?
